First of all, we are in the middle of a Quidditch match between Slytherin and Gryffindor which has gone on for nearly a month with no score. How it's all going to end is anybody's guess, so be sure and stick around to see who wins this long running battle!

Hex's Next Top Graphic Designer is also currently taking place, and there are even more entrants this time than ever before. Remember that anyone can watch and vote for their favorites, so even if you aren't participating you can have a hand in who wins. There is a monthly Avatar Challenge as well as a Writing Challenge in which you can get involved right now, so make sure and check those out if you are so inclined.

Everyone should keep doing their homework, because there are always lots of wonderful prizes for the top students at the end of the year. Even if you aren't a top student you can still earn galleons and other things in your house incentive program, so be sure and check it out.

Hexmas is coming, and hopefully you were able to participate in the Secret Santa which the DA mods have been coordinating. If you didn't, it's still okay. I am sure there are going to be lots of wonderful things happening everywhere on the site, there always are. You never know what to expect during this time of year, so keep an eye open for some exciting and fun events to be coming your way. It's going to be hard to top the events of last season, but I have no doubt that it can be done. I've never been disappointed yet, for things just seem to get better and better. Speaking of Diagon Alley, there's always something happening there. You might make some money by checking the ISO threads if you happen to have an item someone is searching for that you no longer need, and you could even end up finding the item of your dreams. There always seem to be a lot of interesting SAs going on, so you never know what is going to be offered next. Of course, this is only the tip of the iceberg as far as things that are going on there, you'll just have to trust me and see for yourself!
