Contest Corner

The latest contest seen in HEX’s Contest Forum was different from the usual contests. Instead of having to write, or design graphics, there was a raffle. So hopefully all you raffle addicts made your way into the Contest Forum to try your luck.
Ticket prices were as follows:
100 galleons = 1 ticket
500 galleons = 7 tickets
1000 galleons = 17 tickets
And winners were chosen at random, as usual. Here they are:

There were no consolations for this contest, however, the winners did receive a very lovely cash prize, congrats to them.
Easter Contests
Along with the contests in the Contest Forum, there was the Easter event that took place for all HEXians. There were a variety of contests (to which the winners have no yet been announced) that many HEXians participated in. There was...
Wanted: The Easter Bunny’s Kidnapper: A contest where HEXians were given a list of suspects and were to search HEX for clues that would lead to the identity of the Easter Bunny’s Kidnapper.
Pick the Peep: A contest where a certain number of peeps were assigned numbers that corresponded with prizes. HEXians were to choose a number and then were rewarded with the prize that went along with their number.
Easter Egg Hunt: Pretty self explanatory. Search for the eggs that have been placed in thread throughout HEX.
Color the Egg! Contestants took a provided template of an egg and colored it by either printing it off and doing it by hand, or using a program on their computers.
So, you think you know Harry Potter? This was based on Harry Potter trivia. Those who sent in a completed and correct answer sheet would be assigned a number. Those numbers would be drawn and prizes are to be distributed.
Easter Scrambles! 25 Easter related words were scrambled and it was your job to unscramble all of the words successfully.
Caption the Easter Cartoon! Simple enough. Come up with a witty/funny caption for a certain Easter Cartoon and win a prize!
The Mysterious Figure: Contestants were given the start of a story, and were to complete it by placing themselves in the main character’s point of view.
Funny Bunny: HEXians were given 8 different pictures of a cute bunny that they were to turn into a LOL Bunny picture by adding words to it. Those that came up with the most humorous will received a prize.
Hopefully most of the HEXians managed to make their way down to forum 600 and take part in these enjoyable activities. Good luck to all of those who participated! Winners should be announced shortly.
