HEX Idol 2008

Competition was fierce and tempers flared while the judges hid under their tables from the continuous onslaught of bad banshee impressions. Myron Wagtail commented, “Man, it was totally like, just insane man! All these witches like came up and kept trying to steal my shirt man. It was really hot.” From that comment one can safely say: it was chaos.

Nevertheless, some real talent was found and Celestina Warbeck is currently facing charges at the Wizengamot for slipping what appeared to be deadly nightshade into the cups of many a new talent (no fatalities occurred, however, Xeneixian complains that his Adam’s apple was severely bruised, eyewitnesses however report that the bruising was the result of an unfortunate chin-biting accident).

After several weeks, many auditions, and much voting, it came down to three contestants. Lmnop567, an elementary school girl who had just mastered her alphabet and basic numbers, Tori Tendleswift, a banshee who had accidentally swallowed Swift-Tailed Eagle, and Burgundy Vaughan, a poor girl who had an unfortunate accident in a chocolate factory which involved cherry bubblegum. The battled furiously with their voices and an earthquake was reported in China. Finally, after four days of voting the winner was announced…Lmnop567!

As she collected her 100,000 galleon recording contract she wept furiously and exclaimed intermittently between sobs of joy and choking on her own snot, “Me win now!” Well done young girl, well done.

Out of the many, few. Out of the HEXians, three.

Three winners. One contest. The task, you may ask? To design a poster for the sixth movie. All the entries were lovely, but these three stood out enough to garner both excessive praise and prizes for their work. You can view the winning entries in the thread.

The contest prior to that was termed House of Phaile whose goal was to perpetuate the myth of Ravie non-failure. I am shocked by your efforts and surprising success in convincing these reporter in Ravie non-failure. Sadly, I must mention for the sake of the paper and this 'Slytherclaw' bond, that the Daily Prophet is not affiliated with any view point on current Ravie failure and will not comment on said position until the end of IHC.

These were the people who made the greatest strides towards that goal.
